If you missed W8S Swains Island, then here’s another chance. Info by George, AA7JV:
Swains Island during November 22 to 27 – we will stop by to participate in the CQWW CW contest (as K8R). Outside the contest we be on 160m at our SR and SS. Because it is not possible to anchor the boat at Swains, the station will be entirely remotely operated by HA7RY and HA2NA, as Mike and I will be busy the entire time keeping the boat on station near the island – source.
NOTE: K8R callsign was also used in September this year from mainland American Samoa – see here.

Swains Island du 22 au 27 novembre – nous nous arrêterons pour participer au concours CQWW CW (sous le nom de K8R). En dehors du concours nous serons sur 160m à nos SR et SS. Comme il n’est pas possible d’ancrer le bateau à Swains, la station sera entièrement télé-opérée par HA7RY et HA2NA, car Mike et moi serons occupés tout le temps à maintenir le bateau en station près de l’île – source.
REMARQUE : l’indicatif K8R a également été utilisé en septembre de cette année depuis les Samoa américaines continentales – voir ici.
