NEWS UPDATE – Look for Bill, XV9WJR to be active from Con Dao, AS-130 during October 12-15, 2018.

SEPTEMBER 21 – WA7WJR as XV9WJR will again be operating from Vietnam during October 3-27, 2018. QRV from Vung Tau, Con Son Island (IOTA AS-130) and Phu Quoc Island (IOTA AS-128) on 20m, 15m, and 40m. Primarily CW, some PSK31 and phone.

FEBRUARY 14, 2018 — XV9WJR will again be active in April & May 2018.

FEBRUARY 2, 2018 — Bill is again active as XV9WJR until February 14th.

JULY 27, 2017 — Bill, WA7WJR writes: I just received my 3 year Vietnamese Amateur Radio License. My next trip to Vietnam will be in late August – September 2017. I’ll be operating CW (5w to 100w @ 15 wpm) from Bien Hoa, Vung Tao, and possibly Phu Quoc Island. Equipment includes:

• Elecraft K2
• RM Italy HF Linear Amp
• Buddipole Ant
• EFHW Ant
• Vibroplex Vibekeyer

21 SEPTEMBRE – WA7WJR en tant que XV9WJR sera à nouveau opérationnel du Vietnam du 3 au 27 octobre 2018. QRV de Vung Tau, de l’île de Son Son (IOTA AS-130) et de l’île de Phu Quoc (IOTA AS-128) à 20, 15 40m Principalement CW, certains PSK31 et SSB.

14 FEVRIER 2018 — XV9WJR sera à nouveau actif en avril et mai 2018.

2 FÉVRIER 2018 — Bill est à nouveau actif en utilisant l’indicatif XV9WJR jusqu’au 14 février.

27 juillet 2017 — Bill, WA7WJR à écri : Je viens de recevoir ma licence vietnamienne de radio amateur de 3 ans. Mon prochain voyage au Vietnam aura lieu fin août – septembre 2017. Je serai en CW (5w a 100w @ 15 wpm) de Bien Hoa, Vung Tao et peut-être l’île de Phu Quoc. L’équipement comprend:
