[QRV] –
The 5th radio is up and running now after some cabling and soldering work. But during the daytime there are not that many bands open. I tried 6m. It was received by a JA station at -8db
PSK spotter. But there was no one active. The antenna was turned to VK/ZL briefly and then later to EU. After no QSO’s, 6m was shutdown.
The AC in the room went out today. After a lot of badgering, they are working on it. The equipment temperature is rising, especially the solid state amps.
So watching it carefully. There is some breeze coming in from the ocean. So that helps with some cross draft.
I am hoping to get out and work on the 60m vertical, but since the door to the room is ajar for ventillation, cannot leave as yet.
I also have a small AM radio. So will try to start troubleshooting today for the source of the QRN.

La 5ème radio est maintenant opérationnelle après quelques travaux de câblage et de soudure. Mais pendant la journée, il n’y a pas beaucoup de groupes ouverts. J’ai essayé 6m. Il a été reçu par une station JA à -8dB
Observateur PSK. Mais il n’y avait personne d’actif. L’antenne a été brièvement tournée vers VK/ZL, puis plus tard vers l’UE. Après aucun QSO, 6m a été arrêté.
La climatisation dans la pièce est tombée en panne aujourd’hui. Après de nombreuses discussions, ils y travaillent. La température des équipements augmente, en particulier les amplis à semi-conducteurs.
Alors à surveiller attentivement. Il y a un peu de brise venant de l’océan. Cela aide donc avec certains brouillons croisés.
J’espère sortir et travailler sur la verticale de 60 m, mais comme la porte de la pièce est entrouverte pour la ventilation, je ne peux pas encore partir.
J’ai aussi une petite radio AM. Nous allons donc essayer de commencer le dépannage aujourd’hui pour la source du QRN.
