Alex, IT9HRK is now based in Mogadishu, Somalia for the next couple of months. His field of work is crisis management. Only today Alex tested his HF antenna and informs that he prefers using SSB, but will try CW, RTTY & PSK. Picture above is of Alex’s set-up.
At this moment, he is trying to make contact with the Ministry of Information to secure a local license but has had not much luck or help so far.
*Previously, Alex has been active as YI9/IT9ADT (Iraq), 5A/IT9HRK (Libya) and T6/IT9HRK (Afghanistan).

Alex, IT9HRK est maintenant basé à Mogadiscio, en Somalie, pour les deux prochains mois. Son domaine de travail est la gestion de crise. Ce n’est qu’aujourd’hui qu’Alex a testé son antenne HF
et informe qu’il préfère utiliser SSB, mais qu’il essaiera CW, RTTY et PSK. L’image ci-dessus montre la configuration d’Alex.
En ce moment, il essaie de prendre contact avec le ministère de l’Information pour obtenir une licence locale mais n’a pas eu beaucoup de chance ou d’aide jusqu’à présent.
